Description: Grades: 5-9
Discover two of America's most special parks! Crowning the Grand Staircase, Cedar Breaks sits at over 10,000 feet and looks down into a half-mile deep geologic amphitheater. Come wander among timeless bristlecone pines, stand in lush meadows of wildflowers and ponder crystal-clear night skies. Then we are off to explore Zion, Utah’s first National Park! Follow the paths where ancient native people and pioneers walked. Gaze up at massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink, and red that soar into a brilliant blue sky. Hike in the Virgin River and into a narrow slot canyon in Zion and discover a unique array of plants and animals that will enchant you as you absorb the rich history of the past and enjoy the excitement of our adventures. All food & equipment will be provided!
