Giggles Summer Camp
Welcome to Giggles! A giggle, a guffaw, a belly laugh: Nothing can make you smile like the unabashed laughter of children. A child’s blossoming sense of humor thrives on silliness, word play, tongue twisters, and unexpected combinations of image and sound. We draw on the rich tradition of humorous folk music, exploring folk instruments and dancing to songs such as Mole in the Ground and Old Lady No-Nose, recorded by North Carolina musician David Holt. We sing, play, and dance along to campfire favorites such as Sally the Camel, Boom, Boom! Ain’t it Great to be Crazy? and Waddaly Atcha. We revel in goofy sounds and words in Gang-Goo, Flea, Fly, Mosquito, and Apples and Bananas. We have a book of knock-knock jokes for storytime that brings on the giggles and turns the children’s thinking on end. Each day includes a special craft and snack.

Carnival of Music Summer Camp
Welcome to Carnival of Music! We’re all natural music makers! We hum while we play and work, sing along with music in the car, and tap our fingers and feet to the beat. In this carnival-themed camp,, we’ll become more comfortable with instruments and our ability to play them, and explore timbre, steady beat, and ensemble experiences. We’ll move, play, and sing, and through sounds, stories, songs, and games, we’ll learn all about what carnivals have to offer: carousels, clowns, pretzels for sale, and so much more. So step right up—we’re off to the Carnival of Music!
---------------------
Wild Animal Park Summer Camp
Take a walk on the wild side and explore the wonders of the Rainforest. We’ll travel along with the tigers through the snow and jungle. Join the kangaroos as the bounce and boing along and take to the sky and soar with the birds. We’ll discover elephants have wrinkles and sloths move very very slowly. We’ll make our own rainforest creatures to take home each day and enjoy special snacks to go along with each day’s adventure.

Drums Drums Drums Summer Camp
Children are natural music makers! They hum while they play, sing along with songs, and can make almost anything into a drum! Your child will love our exploration of drums, percussion instruments and the music of Africa and South America. Singing, clapping, dancing with scarves, playing instruments and musical games as well as a "Drum Circle" story time will engage and help nurture your child's musical rhythm and enjoyment of multi-cultural music! Each day includes a take home craft and special snack.

Jazz Kitchen Summer Camp
Join us for one of our most popular summer camps. Jazz music with its famous instruments, cool improvisation, upbeat tunes and its roots in Southern American history mixes perfectly with our kitchen theme in Jazz Kitchen. We’ll follow a special recipe from the book Noodles From Scratch, which will be available in your online materials, and make our own snacks to enjoy as well as special crafts each day.

Sing a Story Summer Camp
We’re off to the opera — it’s time to Sing a Story! You will meet some colorful characters from a Mozart opera called The Magic Flute, check out the hustle and bustle that happens backstage before a show, and learn more about Mozart, too. You’ll even explore the musical staff, and how notes a composer puts on a page become beautiful music!
---------------------
In My Garden Kindermusik Camp
The sun is shining, birds are singing, insects are buzzing, critters are sniffing, wriggling, chirping, hopping, and burrowing and seeds are growing. We’ll buzz like bees, fly like butterflies, sing like birds and plant our own seeds to discover the hidden delights of gardening through listening, singing, movement, and pretend play. Come along — it’s a beautiful day In My Garden!

On The Road Summer Camp
Beep! Beep! Time to hit the road with the adventurous Flugelhorn family (including their silly dog, Randolph). We’ll take a ride in their trusty vehicle, Van Go, and explore new songs, activities, and more at each stop. From the beach to the campsite to the fair, we’ll sing and dance through this energetic adventure and help those flighty Flugelhorns keep up with all their belongings!
