Summer On Broadway with Kids Unlimited
Description: KU studios, home of Kids Unlimited, is offering a summer of singing and dancing and acting. A true triple threat experience. We are hosting four different Musical Theater inspired camps for all ages.
June 20th-24th: "Encanto at KU" for ages 7-17, 9am-4pm (full-day camp). An intensive one-week camp taught by award-winning actor/director Kevin Johnson. Students will focus on stage presence, projection, movement, acting, and singing, as well as fun and games geared to work on improv training. The camp will end with a full costumed performance on the last day of camp.
Our second week of camp June 27th-July 1st, "Arendelle and Beyond," will immerse our younger campers in the world of "Frozen" through stories, crafts, games, dress-up, and, of course, singing and dancing.
The same week (June 27th-July 1st) for our 8-17-year-old campers, we are offering an "Audition Prep Camp." These campers will work on all aspects of an audition, from the casting notice to monologue prep, song selections, and breaking down key dance combinations. By the end of this camp students will have more confidence walking into any audition room.
"On Broadway," July 11th-15th is for campers ages 8-17. Our campers will spend the week learning to perform excerpts from the last 15 years of Broadway musicals, to include musicals like "Wicked," "Legally Blonde," "13" and so much more. Campers will showcase scenes from the musicals they studied in a performance to be held on the last day of the camp. Parents and families are welcome to attend both showcases.
All our camps provide snacks. All-day Campers will need to bring their own lunch. Kids Unlimited does not charge registration fees for our summer camps.
