Youth Center Summer Camp @ Literacy Connects
Description: Calling middle school creatives! If you like writing, acting, theatre, or filmmaking, our summer camp is for you!
Literacy Connects' Summer Camp is an entirely student-produced celebration of creative expression! Youth write stories, then collaborate to conceptualize and produce those stories as short plays and films. The Camp Showcase is a variety show of original stories written and performed by campers!
At the Youth Center, participants will:
Write stories, learn key elements of theatre and film, learn technology used in theatre and film, practice giving and receiving feedback, put on a show for friends and family, make friends and have fun!
